Video Game Lock-In

On Friday, December 13, 2024, 16 scouts and 5 adults gathered at South Union Christian Church for the troop’s much-anticipated annual Video Game Lock-In. As scouts arrived, the fellowship hall was filled with the aroma of pizza and the sounds of laughter as the scouts spread out and dove into a wide array of video games and board games, with the most popular games of the night being Mario Kart and Fortnite.

As is tradition at the lock-in, most scouts managed to stay awake all night, fueled by junk food, camaraderie, and the bragging rights that come with pulling an all-nighter!

The Video Game Lock-In continues to be one of the highlights of our scouting year, providing a unique opportunity for scouts to bond, relax, and simply enjoy being together. It’s events like these that strengthen the friendships within our troop and remind us of the importance of making time for fun amidst all our hard work!
