Middle Way House provides emergency shelter, transitional houses, and other important and valuable services to individuals and families in crisis due to domestic abuse, sexual assault, stalking, and/or human trafficking. Serving six counties in southern Indiana, Middle Way House relies on a staff of 70 and a volunteer force of 300+ to provide services. On September 30th, Troop 148 will work with Troop 1148 to refurbish and repair the playground at the shelter for the children who are living there to be able to play on safely, providing an important relief from the trauma they are experiencing.
