Westside Sector Fall Camporee 2024

This year’s Fall Camporee will coincide with JOTA/JOTI (Jamboree on the Air/Jamboree on the Internet), the largest Scouting event in the world by number of participants! In honor of scouts having the opportunity to connect with other scouts from literally all over the world, the theme of this year’s camporee is International Scouting! Each registered scout will receive a camp passport that they will use to collect stamps at the different booths and stations, including communicating with scouts on the iPads and ham radios, visiting displays on World Scouting and other international scouting awards, earning the Interpreter Strip, tying the international Friendship Knot, and playing a geography game.

In the afternoon, units will teach each other about a country of their choice, including providing games, activities, dances, and foods from their chosen country. Units participating in this event have the chance to be recognized for Best Display and Best Participatory Activity. The evening will conclude with an international-themed campfire.
