The weekend of November 8-10, Troop 148 will head out to Ransburg Scout Reservation, located in the heart of the Hoosier National Forest and along the scenic shores of Lake Monroe for our annual cabin camp out.

On Saturday morning, the scouts will head down to Bedford North Lawrence High School to participate in the Westside Sector’s Fall Merit Badge Day & Training EXPO where scouts will have an opportunity to earn an assortment of merit badges from Chess to Game Design to First Aid to Fingerprinting, Signs, & Symbols.

Later that evening, scouts will gather around the campfire for roasting hot dogs, making s’mores, and one of the most important parts of the weekend—the planning of the 2025 calendar!

With the stunning backdrop of Lake Monroe and a weekend filled with learning and camaraderie, this cabin camp out promises to be a fun and unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
