March 7-9, Troop 148 will travel to Maumee Scout Reservation for the Hoosier Trails Council’s Oregon Trail themed Spring Camporee where our scouts will enjoy an action packed weekend inspired by the historic route used by pioneers traveling westward across the United States during the 19th century.

Throughout the weekend, Scouts will enjoy many immersive experiences including:

• panning for gold

• trapping

• blacksmithing

• pioneer cooking,

• dancing to live blue grass music, and

• exploring the Oregon Trail inspired obstacle course!
