Video Game Lock-In

  • St. Paul United Methodist Church Bloomington, IN (map)

Troop 148’s Annual Video Game Lock-In event will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church from Friday, December 15 8:00 pm until Saturday, December 16 at 7:00 am.

Scouts are welcome to bring electronics such as computers, tablets, and video games (with monitor, since TVs at the church are limited), as well as board games and playing cards. The only rules about what you bring is that they must be Scouts BSA appropriate and you must come ready to share with the group, so that everyone can have fun!

Don’t forget to bring a fresh pack of white athletic socks that can be rolled up for our annual midnight snowball war! As always, we will be donating the socks to a charity after the Lock-In!

Other personal items we recommend bringing include a pillow, sleeping bag/blanket, some toiletries (a toothbrush!), and possibly pajamas or a fresh change of clothes. There will be some quiet places designated for those who want to sleep or take a quiet break.

The Troop will provide pizza and drinks, but we ask scouts to bring along your favorite snack to share.

Adult leaders will be present to supervise all night long, but parents are welcome to drop in and hang out for awhile, too! We would love to visit with you.
