Join Us on an Adventure!

Troop 148 emphasizes the 12 principles of the Scout Law in all we do: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

  • A leader is someone who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.

Our youth learn valuable leadership skills while participating in fun, youth led activities, including high adventure, camping, and other outdoor outings, such as hiking, canoeing, kayaking, spelunking, and climbing high ropes courses!

  • Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.

A cornerstone of the Scouts BSA program is service to others. The Scout Oath teaches that a scout should “help other people at all times” and we prioritize modeling this through our various Service Projects in the community throughout the year.

  • It's not a lack of resources, but a lack of resourcefulness that leads to failure.

Scouts BSA might be the most affordable youth program in existence today. But nothing in life is free. Since we do not want a single youth to miss out on scouting because of lack of funds, we offer several fundraising programs that youth and families can participate in to help pay their way.
